Mr. Dennie Franklin Brookshire, age 82, of Adairsville, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Floyd Atrium Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones.

Dennie was born in Rome, GA, December 20, 1943, son of the late Lurlyne Fortenberry Brookshire and Henry Brookshire. Mr. Brookshire was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Aurie Bob Pickard Brookshire. He was a member of Poplar Springs Methodist Church and retired from Georgia Power.

Survivors include his beloved daughters, Dana Brookshire Barton and Denise Blalock (Kevin); grandchildren, Kayla Quinn (Austin), Seth Brookshire, Jessica Davis (Michael), and Amber Wall; great grandchildren, Madison Broyles, Mason Roe, Trista Wheeler, Kennedy Wall and Aria Quinn; and sister, Eunice Coker (Edward).

Honoring Dennie’s wishes he will be cremated.
