Mr. Donald Robert Collum, age 77, of Adairsville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born in Cartersville, GA on April 5, 1940, son of the late Solomon Collum and Aileen Romine Collum. Mr. Collum was a faithful man of God and loving member and deacon of Stoner Chapel Baptist Church. Donald lived his life supporting his family. He was the most loving father and Pawpaw, not only to his own but many others. Donald loved opening his home to everyone; it's what made him happy, for you to just come by sit at the shop and eat a bit.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lester Collum.

Survivors include his loving wife to whom he was married to for 55 years, Diane Howell Collum of Adairsville; children, Sol and Gayle Collum of Adairsville, Cindy and Teddy Martin of Cartersville and Tracy and Paula Collum of Adairsville,; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Douglas and William Collum; sister, Mamie Jo Thornton and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 2:00PM at Stoner Chapel Baptist Church, Adairsville with Reverends Randy Jackson, David Baker, Stephen Moore, and Bit Parrish officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers include Nick Martin, Mason Collum, Brock Arp, Jody Jamison, Zach Jamison, Fred Budzius, and Johnny Collum. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Stoner Chapel Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Stoner Chapel Baptist Church.
