Mr. Donald Lesl ey Stephens , 59 , of Adairsville went to be with his Lord and Savior August 27, 2021 .

Donald was born July 9, 19 6 2 in Atlanta Georgia to the late Clarence Mack " Dink" Stephens and Zelma Beatrice Garrett " Duck" Stephens. After high school Donald began working with hydraulics and continued for the next 40 years. He owned and operated his business Donald' s Hydraulic Repair in Rome for 25 years. He was a devout C hristian and had a strong passion for youth ministry. He loved to see their young minds learning the Word of God and walking in faith. Donald enjoyed sharing his ministry through music, a passion he passed on to his son Johnathon. He managed the Christian b and In Pursuit for several years producing, traveling, and singing at many places. Other than being with his family, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycles, and was an avid outdoorsman .

Donald devoted his life to his family and wouldn't have wanted it another way. He leaves behind the love of his life of 35 years, Jean Fowler Stephens " his doll, his girl" ; his greatest accomplishment, his son, Johnathon Garrett Stephens and his wife, Sarah; a precious grandson who was his pride and joy , Thomas; two wonderful brothers, Mike Stephens and his wife, Sheilah and Tony Stephens and his wife, Paula; nephews, Scott Stephens and his wife Amy and A. J. Stephens; great-niece s and great-nephews; Chandler, Dawson, Haleigh, and Wyatt; mother-in-law who he loved like his own , Climmie Fowler; his baby girl, his "little sister", Rebekah Fowler Davis and her husband Glyn; his grand-girls, his grand-princesses, Amelia and Carrigan Davis; his right hand man, Tim Arrington and his wife, Winter and their darling daughters, Payten and K ara. He will always be remembered as the greatest husband, Dad , P appy, U n c, brother, Pops and friend to so many.

Mr. Stephens was preceded in death by his parents, Dink and Duck, his nephew, Brent Stephens, his grandparents, and his father-in-law, Tom Fowler who he loved like a Dad.

A Celebration of Donald's Life will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 3 :00 PM at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Joe Pritchard and Glyn Davis officiating . Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery, Adairsville.

The family will receive friends Mon day evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
