Mr. Donald "Danny" Wayne King, age 61, of King Road, Adairsville, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Redmond Regional Hospital.

He was born in Cartersville, GA, April 13, 1959, son of Mary Eunice Charles King and the late Edward David King. Mr. King was a member of of the christian faith and worked for Mannington Carpets in Calhoun. Danny loved being outdoors and anything with a motor, classic cars, motorcycles, four-wheeler, and boats. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Danny will be missed by all who loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward David King and sister, Teresa E. King Henson Robinson.

Survivors include his wife and life partner of 22 years, Mary Ledford King; daughter, Heather (Rodger) Brown; children he called his own, Crystal (David) Van Hook, Robert (Tiffany) Davenport, and Amberly Otting (Jason) Ivester; grandchildren, Cole, Wes, and Mason Brown, Gracen and Annali Van Hook, Ansley and Jonah Davenport, and Tucker and Peri Ivester; mother, Eunice King; sister, Lisa (Mike) Jones; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Celebration of Danny's Life will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.

R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. Donald "Danny" Wayne King.
