Mrs. Donna L. Bramblett, age 68, of Oak Grove Road, Calhoun, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 at the residence.

She was born in Xenia, Ohio, January 7, 1948, daughter of Lucia Shaw Ward and the late Donald Ward. Mrs. Bramblett attended Adairsville Church of Christ. She retired from Mannington Carpets and then worked at Mohawk Industries until age of retirement. An amazing grandmother, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren. She loved the Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoyed living on the farm taking care of all her critters, from goats to potbelly pigs. She was preceded in death by her father and granddaughter, Alexis Bramblett.

Survivors include her loving husband of fifty years, Windel "Fay" Bramblett of Calhoun; children, Barry and Lia Bramblett of Calhoun, Mark and Michal Bramblett of Calhoun, and Tammy and Phillip Queen of Adairsville; mother, Lucia Ward of Calhoun; grandchildren, Dawson Yarbrough, Christian Queen, Alex Queen, Abby Bramblett, and Grace Bramblett; sister Nina Spurgeon of Sabina, OH; brother, David Ward of Calhoun; special aunt, Lois Cline; special friends, John and Martha Holbert and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Ministers Rick Lawson and Steve McCaslin officiating. Interment will follow in the Hays Cemetery. Pallbearers include Barry Bramblett, Mark Bramblett, Dawson Yarbrough, Christian Queen, Tim Woodard, Courtney Taylor, John Holbert, and Brian Holbert. Honorary pallbearers include Travis Goswick, Bill Cline and Bob Cline.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
