Mrs. Doris Ruthell Adams Bailey Dutton, age 81, 315 Ward Mountain Road, died Monday (February 14, 2011) at the residence.

Mrs. Dutton was born in Adairsville, December 23, 1929, daughter of the late John W. and Ruthell Shelton Adams. She was a selfless, loving woman who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved to cook and was known for her homemade biscuits. Mrs. Dutton was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Bailey; her second husband, J.D. Dutton; a brother, William Adams and a sister, Judy Adams.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Elsie Moore of Adairsville and Wanda Lynch of Adairsville; 3 sons and daughters-in-laws, James Edwards (Kimberly) Bailey of Rome, Bobby (Josie) Bailey of Rome, and Elvis (Vera) Bailey of Adairsville; 9 grandchildren, Scottie Moore, Tracy Reynolds, Sherry Dudley, Janet Smith, Arthur Smith, Jada, Dewayne, Daniel, and Dana Bailey; 17 great-grandchildren, Braylee and Colee Moore, Anthony and Lance Reynolds, Izetta, Hailey, Doss, Anna, and Brittany Dudley, Kaylei, Dustin, Bradley and Wesley Bailey, Jaden Smith, Jaylen Perez, and Hogan, Braden, and Collin Smith; 2 brothers, Jim Adams and Ricky Adams; a sister, Linda Lawson and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 12:00 PM from the chapel at Barton Funeral, Adairsville, with Rev. William Ford officiating. Interment will follow Eastview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Scottie Moore, Dewayne Bailey, Daniel Bailey, Kris Ellis, Anthony Reynolds, and Jacob Lawson.

The family received friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
