Ms. Doris Hunt, 52, of Calhoun passed away suddenly Monday, August 17, 2020, at AdventHealth Gordon.

She was born in Sebring, Florida, April 17, 1968, daughter of the late Judy Hunt. She was of the christian faith. Doris was a proud mother and grandmother, insisted on family togetherness, and put her family above everything else. She enjoyed working puzzles and coloring, listening to music, and being with people. She was preceded in death by her mother; and brothers, William Lee Hunt and Ronald Lee Hunt.

Survivors include her children, Latisha (Terrick) Hunt, Victoria (Chicho) Hunt, and Brad (Charity) Hunt; grandchildren, Jonathan, Arianna, Judi, and Jacob Hunt, Rey, Nayeli, and Ceci Lopez; brothers, Leroy, Tyrone, and Russell Hunt; aunts, Bay Towe and Lula Burns; uncle, Petey Hunt and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 20, 2020, at 12:00 Noon at Dry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Towe officiating. Following Covid19 guidelines with social distancing, the family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville. Pallbearers will include, Brad Hunt, Terrick Hunt, Derrick Howren, Scotty Towe, Dwayne Ragsdale, and Barney Ragsdale.
