Mrs. Dorothy Belle Huffman, age 87, of Adairsville, passed away Saturday morning, June 9, 2012 at Cartersville Heights, Cartersville.
She born February 24, 1925, in Ellijay, GA she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Onan Milton Self. Mrs. Huffman was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Hall Station Road in Adairsville and had worked at Troy's Bar-B-Que in Rome for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Toliver McCrory; her second husband, Everette Huffman; a grandson, Ricky Ensley; 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Survivors include 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Winfred and Linda McCrory of Adairsville, Steven and Diane McCrory of Cartersville, and Stanley McCrory of Rome; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda Ensley of Cartersville, Patricia and Clifford Skeen of Adairsville, and Elaine and Charles Johnston of Adairsville; 2 brothers, Roy Self of Rome and Floyd Self of Cartersville; 2 sisters, Linda Williams of Cartersville and Imogene May of Cartersville; 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 8 great great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Adairsville Kingdom Hall. The family will receive friends at the Kingdom Hall from 1:00 PM until time for the memorial service. The family will be gathering at the home of granddaughter, Tracy McCrory Cline, Friday evening at 6:00 PM at 21 Two Run Creek Road, Cartersvile.
