M r s. Dottie Ann Tatum Wilson , age 69 , of Rome , passed away peacefully Monday , May 31 , 2021, at the residence .

She was born in Calhoun , GA, July 5, 1951 , to Frank Tatum and Willie Mae Millsap Tatum . Dottie loved her family and friends and lived her life to the fullest. She enjoyed traveling, decorating, and shopping with her sisters, especially for antiques. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandmother, Clydie Millsap.

Survivors include her loving husband of 54 y ears, Wayne Wilson; sons, Timothy Wilson and Jeff and Stacy Wilson; grandsons, Josh Wilson and Joe Wilson; sisters, Rita and Van Duvall and Anita Hughes; several nieces and nephews also survive .

Funeral services will be held on Thurs day, June 3 , 2021, at 1 : 3 0 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. C. E. Wilkey officiating. Interment will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens , Rome . Pallbearers will be Jeff Wilson , Josh Wilson, Joe Wilson, Jeremy Duvall, Jason Duvall, and Gary Holmes. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Duvall.

The family will receive friends Thurs day from 1 1 :00 A M until 1 : 3 0 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
