Mr. Dwayne "Corky" Coker, devoted Husband, Father and Paw went to his Heavenly home Sunday, August 27, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Dwayne was born in Rome, GA, August 9, 1972, to Edward Coker and Eunice Brookshire Coker. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Coker and grandparents, Marvin and Dixie Coker and Henry and Lurlyn Brookshire. He attended NorthPointe Church and was employed at Day's Chevrolet. He loved his family first and foremost. Dwayne was never one to just be doing nothing, he was either playing basketball, watching UGA, tinkering on his old truck, or his most favorite thing playing with his grandchildren. Dwayne had a heart of gold and loved making people laugh. He was a friend to all and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ann Arrington Coker; beloved daughters, Lindsey Boswell and husband Tyler and Addy Coker; precious grandchildren, Parker Kate Boswell and Justin Trace Boswell; parents, Ed and Eunice Coker; brother, Anson (Stefanie) Coker; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Reverends Jim Pinkard and Earl Abernathy officiating. Interment will follow Snow Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Tyler Boswell, Jason Hudson, Pablo Sierra, Richard Vaughn, Travis Vaughn, and Ric Sharp.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home

R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. Dwayne "Corky" Coker.
