Mr. Earl Maxwell Adcock , age 7 0 , of Adairsville, passed away Tues day, February 2 2 , 202 2, at his residence.
H e was born in F olsom , GA, November 12 , 195 1 , son of late Walter Max Adcock and Helen Dean Earwood Adcock. He was a member of Glade Baptist Church and retired from Cartersville Carpet Sales . Earl loved his family and was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed working on small engines and grew the most beautiful garden every year. H e was preceded in death by h is parents, Walter Max Adcock and Helen Dean Earwood Adcock; brothers; Vernon Adcock, Randy Adcock, and Claude Adcock; and sister s , Cathy Epps and Wanda Cape .
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Betty Adcock; children, Misty Adcock, Eric Adcock (Heather Robinson) , Ali ci a and Michael Hyde ; grandchildren, Celeste Huffman (Jaden Tate), Chandler Huffman, Waylon Adcock, Brianna Adcock, Mason Adcock, Caydi Hyde, Cayla Hyde, Jacob Hyde, and John Luke Hyde; great-grandchild on the way; brother, Ricky and Ann Adcock; sisters, Sherrie and Phillip Pruitt and Deborah Akins; and special brother-in-law, Gene Cape; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Fri day, February 25, 2022, at 1 :00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Reverend s Roger Peace JR and Kyle Coker officiating. Interment will follow in Hayes Cemetery, Folsom . Pallbearers include A. J. Murphy, Josh Choran, Shane Epps, Jamie Epps, Terry Jacobs, Eric Helton, and Shawn Keeter .
The family will receive friends Fri day from 1 0 : 3 0 A M until 1 :00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
