Ms. Edrice Rosamund Ward, age 65, of 36 Ward Mountain Road, NW, Adairsville, passed away Thursday evening, November 29, 2012 at Floyd Medical Center, Rome.

She was born in Cartersville, GA, June 11, 1947, daughter of the late Troy Odell and Mildred Herndon Ward. Ms. Ward was a dedicated member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, Adairsville, where she was active in several church activities. Her interests included reading, listening to Gospel music, and spending time with her family. Ms. Ward was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Wendell Ward and John Daniel "Danny" Ward.

Survivors include two sisters, Marilyn Farr of Adairsville, and Milva Williamson of Buford; nieces and nephews, Ronnie Farr, Darryl Farr, Lamar "Hoodie" Farr, Jacki Farr Thacker, Philip Furrow, and Rhonda Furrow Glover; a very special friend, Lynelle Ellis of Adairsville; numerous great nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 3:00 PM from Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, Adairsville, with Rev. Jennifer Bates officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Ronnie Farr, Darryl Farr, Lamar" Hoodie" Farr, Philip Furrow, Wesley Thacker, and Houston Farr will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
