Mr. Edward Carl Mulkey, age 70, of Cartersville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 14, 2022.

He was born in Cartersville, Georgia, February 24, 1952, son of the late Herman Edward Mulkey and Naomi Elizabeth Shook Mulkey. Edward was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Arlene Victoria "Vickie" Mulkey; daughter, Rebecca Miller Greenway; and brother, John Robert Mulkey. Mr. Mulkey was a veteran of the United States Navy. He had worked for North Star Steel, Atlantic Steel, and spent time self-employed as a building contractor. Edward enjoyed life at the beach and listening to good music. He will be remembered as a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

Survivors include his daughter, Ronda Tatum and husband Brent; son, Ron Miller and wife Rebecca; grandchildren, Margaret Tatum, Katherine Bishop and husband Blaine, Jared Tatum, Avery Tatum, Caroline Tatum; Luke Miller, Joseph Miller, Mary Jo Miller, and Mary Liz Miller; great-grandson, Jax Bishop; sisters, Cathy London and husband Don, Nancy Shropshire and husband George, and Connie Richardson and husband Wayne; brother, Jimmy Wayne Mulkey; several nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends, Joe Alexander, Terry Silvers, and Don Temples.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 18, 2022, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Reverends Brent Tatum and David Baker officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date in Sunset Memory Gardens, Cartersville. Family will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
