Mrs. Sallie Elizabeth Strickland Wilkey, age 78, of Kingston, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 8, 2025.

Elizabeth was born in Kingston, GA, March 1, 1946, daughter of the late John Tom Strickland and Julia Mae Barnes Strickland. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Billy Franklin Wilkey, grandson Christopher Mason Wilkey,  and 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Elizabeth was a faithful member at Kingston Full Gospel Apostolic Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Elizabeth's memory will be cherished by all who loved her.

Survivors include her beloved sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Michelle Wilkey and Chris and Tammy Wilkey; grandchildren, Dustin Wilkey (Megan), Kayla Michelle, Cameron Wilkey, Carsyn Wilkey, and Kayla Clemens (Tyler); great-grandchildren, Knox, Finleigh, Mackenzie, Bentley, Brayden, Khloe, and Kynlee; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Reverends Kelly Wilkey, Larry Buttram, Gary Easterwood, and Chris Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the Kingston Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Chris Wilkey, Dustin Wilkey, Tyler Clemons, Bobby Wilkey, Nathan Wilkey, and Payton Silvers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.

R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mrs. Sallie Elizabeth Strickland Wilkey.
