Mrs. Ella Mae Harris Jackson, age 80, of McKenzie Street, Adairsville, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 at her residence.

She was born in Adairsville, GA, on May 24, 1936, daughter of the late Raymond and Flora Cargile Harris. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church, the Women's Circle, and Woodman of the World. An amazing mother, grandmother, and friend, Ella Mae adored every moment together. She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lelton A. "Buddy" Jackson; grandson, Josh Jackson; brothers, Carl, Richard, Hugh, Raymond, Jr., Jimmy, Doyle, Benny, and Frank Harris sisters, Mary Smith and Irene King.

Survivors include her loving children, Rev. Randy and Kathy Jackson of Adairsville, Brenda and Terry Hall of Adairsville, and Wanda and Kent Sager of Adairsville; grandchildren, Kandy and Jamie Carter, Dodi and Brandon Thomas, Justin and Hannah Hall, Chris "Scooby" Hall, Mindy and Derek Edwards, Kayla and Tim Murphy, Chaise and Kristen Womack, and Scott Sager; 17 greatgrandchildren; brothers, Alfred and Linda Harris of Adairsville and Bill and Betty Harris of Adairsville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 3:00 PM from Union Grove Baptist Church, Adairsville with Rev. David Baker and Rev. Lamar Beason officiating.   Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Chaise Womack, Justin Hall, Chris "Scooby" Hall, Jamie Carter, Brandon Thomas, Derek Edwards, and Tim Murphy. Honorary pallbearers include Orry Carter, Austin Jackson, Jaxon Thomas, Brodi Thomas, Will Murphy, Isaac Murphy, and Bo Harris.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
