M r. Elvis Clyde Bailey , age 65 , of Adairsville , passed away unexpectedly Sun day, September 18, 2022, at AdventHealth Gordon.

Mr. Bailey was born in Carter sville, Georgia, May 6, 1957 , son of the late Clyde Bailey Doris Ruthell Adams Bailey Dutton. Elvis had worked for Thompson Weiman Co. for over 25 years and later Premier Yarn before retiring. He enjoyed watch ing NASCAR and the New York Yankees. Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by h is parents.

Survivors include his loving wife, Vera Maxine Bailey; sisters , Elsie Moore and Wanda Lynch; brothers, Edward Bailey and Bobby Bailey; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home , Adairsville, with Min. Dewayne Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park, Calhoun . Pallbearers will be Scottie Moore, Dewayne Bailey, Shane Reynolds, James Dudley, Daniel Bailey and Timmy Bailey .

The family received friends Wednesday evening from 5 :00 PM until 7 :00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
