Obituary
Mrs. Emma Charlotte Lemons Johnson, 78, of 5297 Adairsville Road, Adairsville, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at her residence.
She was born in Adairsville, GA, January 17, 1935, daughter of the late Carl and Gladys Earwood Lemons. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and enjoyed tending to her three dogs, Sam, Zeke, and Paddy-Wack. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jerry Truman Johnson.
Survivors include her son, Bryan Johnson of Adairsville; 2 sisters-in-law, Evelyn and Johnny Evans of Cartersville and Ann Johnson of Cartersville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Pace officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Johnny Evans, Jeff Evans, Tony Evans, Don Post, Jeffery Evans, Leon Earwood, and Theron Earwood will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Barton Funeral Home.
