Obituary
Mr. Ernest Dale Adcock, Sr, age 77, of Carrollton, GA passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Tanner Medical, Carrollton, Georgia.
Mr. Adcock was born in Borden Springs, AL, June 1, 1937 son of the late Henry Grady Adcock and Lillie Mae Adams Adcock. He was a veteran of the United States Army, member of Christway Baptist Church, Carrollton, and known for his sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Fay Smith Adcock; sisters, Hazel Smith and Lois Blansit.
Survivors include his children, Dale Adcock, Jr. of Griffin, GA and Brenda Adcock of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Austin Cantrell Hewlett, Amber Lauren Hewlett, Zachary Dale Adcock, and Brantley Noah Adcock.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 27, at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Timmie Roberts and Rev. Paul Stitcher officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 until 3:00 pm at the Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
