Mr. Ernest M. Dudley, age 83, of 111 Hill Street, Adairsville, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015, at Gordon Hospital, Calhoun.

He was born September 8, 1932, in Albertville, AL, son of the late J. Walter Dudley and Maude Studdard Dudley. Mr. Dudley was a member of New Life Ministries and a supervisor with Dudley's Logging. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Diana Roberts Dudley, two sons, Ernest Wayne Dudley and Michael James Dudley, brother, Lonnie Dudley and sister, Jill Till.

Survivors include four sons – Danny Dudley and Jeffrey Dudley of Ringgold, Lonnie (Beth) Dudley of LaFayette, and James (Sherry) Dudley of Adairsville, a daughter - Angel (Tim) Mitchell of Adairsville, three sisters - Dorothy Brock, Arlis Cleghorn, and Anniegail Fincher all of LaFayette. Grandchildren - Brittany Morrow, Nathan, Gabriel, Izetta, Hailey, Doss, Anna, Hunter, Caiden, and Xander Dudley.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 2:00 PM at New Life Ministries, Adairsville, with Rev. Steve Morrow officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Cemetery, LaFayette, GA. The body will lie-in-state at the church on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.
Pallbearers include Loran Jones, Russ Morrow, Doss Dudley, Chadrick Cleghorn, Mike Cleghorn, and Tim Mitchell.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to assist with expenses.
