Eugene Floyd Groleau's Obituary
Mr. Eugene Floyd Groleau, 90, of 69 Pearson Road, Adairsville passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Groleau was born in Iron Mountain, MI, April 11, 1923, son of the late, Eugene and Alfonsene Groleau. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II, was of the Catholic faith and had retired from Lockheed Martin Aircraft after over forty years of service. A licensed pilot, Mr. Groleau loved flying and playing the harmonica. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Farmer Groleau, and his parents, brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his brother, Joe Groleau of Iron Mountain, MI, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, Adairsville. The family will receive friends Saturday at the church from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour.
