Mrs. Eunice Elizabeth Blanscet, age 72, of Joe Frank Harris Parkway, NW, Adairsville, GA, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2013 at Gordon Hospital, Calhoun.
She was born in Phillip, MS, on March 21, 1942, to Charlie and Earlene Boatwright Melton. Mrs. Blanscet had worked as a chemist at Coca Cola Company. She was certified by the Dale Carnegie Training, a member of the American Food and Chemical Society, and the National Poetic Society. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Lee Coffman and 3 brothers Gene Melton, WT Melton, and Earnest Melton.
Survivors include her husband Robert Blanscet of Adairsville; a son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Robin Cochran of Cartersville; 10 grandchildren, Matthew Pittman, Melissa Waggner, Michael Cochran, Karri Cochran, Mari Cochran, Marshall Altamirano, Niki Hammock, Angela Greenway, Dana Greenway, and Tracy Lloyd; 4 great grandchildren, Hunter Hammock, Hayden Waggner, David Greenway, and Delilah Greenway 3 brothers, Donald Melton, Charles Melton, and John Melton; 4 sisters, Betty Grey, Joyce Mote, Joy Melton, and Carolyn Kennedy.
A Private memorial will be held by the family at a later date.
