Mrs. Eva Lou Evans, age 94, of Pleasant Valley Road, Adairsville, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Copper Hill, TN October 28, 1921, daughter of the late Herman Campbell and Ada Kisselburg Hicks. Mrs. Evans was a member of Center Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, and playing a good game of Bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, L.D. Evans; daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Daniel Burger; brother, Clarence Campbell; sisters, Ezell Bishop, Edith Bishop, and Ruth Singleton; granddaughter, Heather Jordan and great granddaughter, Nikki Simpkins.

Survivors include her daughters, Helen Hackney of Adairsville, Patsy (Ricky) Wilbanks of Adairsville, and Ann (Tony) Lindsey of Cartersville; sons, Roy Evans of Adairsville and Michael (Vera) Evans of Kingston; 18 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 12:30 pm at Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Cartersville with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. Pallbearers will be Austin Barton, Desmond Slocum, Robbie Abernathy, Keith West, Tony Lindsey, and Justin Jenkins.

The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Barton Funeral Home.
