Mrs. Eva Jo Fowler Stepp, age 88, of Cartersville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 31, 2020.

She was born in Cartersville, Georgia, October 30, 1932, daughter of the late Tom D. Fowler and Faye Jones Fowler. She was a member of Center Baptist Church and the pianist for many years. Mrs. Stepp was a retired beautician and operated the beauty shop for Springdale Nursing Home for several years. She loved her church, music, and spending time with family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Stepp was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hugh Stepp; brothers, Harry and Ray Fowler; sisters, Dorothy Woody, Barbara Littlefield, and Mary Ferguson.

Survivors include her children, Joy Bevil, Kenneth and Juanell Stepp, Keith and Gayla Stepp, and Tommy and Tammie Stepp; grandchildren, Andrea Heater, Breanna Bellamy, Amy Stepp, Blake Stepp, Leah Sherwin, and Darren Stepp; great-grandchildren, Preslea, Charity, Jacob, Levi, Hayden, Madison, Elijah, Mason, Evan, Kylee, Sophia, and Deacon; brother, Robert Fowler; sisters, LeNelle Bland and Martha Hardigree and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 4, 2021, at 2:00pm Center Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Stepp, Pastor Joey Phillips, and Rev. Dewey Atchley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Center Baptist Church. Family will serve as pallbearers and deacons of Center Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Family and friends attending services will be required to wear face mask and observe social distancing.
