Mr s . Evalie Waid McGuire , 8 8 , of Joe Frank Harris Parkway, Adairsville went to her heavenly home on Tues day, October 12, 2021, at her residence.

She was born February 27, 1933, to the late Leroy Waid and Loraine Cawthon Waid. She is preceded in death by h er husband, George H. McGuire. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Jean Moore, Evelyn Waid, Ethel Bates and her brothers, Roy Waid , James Waid, Jack Waid, and Marvin Waid.

She was co-owner of McGuire Equipment Co. with her husband up until his death in 2015. T hey enjoyed traveling and hiking with family. She loved to be outside and taking care of her flowers and plants. Evalie was a member of Adairsville Baptist Church.

She is survived by h er sons and daughters-in-law, Marty and Christine McGuire of Cartersville , Greg and Cynthia McGuire, and Tony and Monica McGuire all of Adairsville ; grandchildren, David McGuire, Tabitha Jones and Tom Regan , Jason and Kristen McGuire, Keisha and Todd Dutton, Krista and Jeremy Bryant, and Bryson McGuire; great-grandchildren, Lexi Dutton, J. T. Dutton, Sadie McGuire and Asher McGuire ; her special friend, "Kitty Baby"; sisters- in-law and brothers-in-law, Anne Ferrell, Francis and Doug Ferrell, Edith Owens, Ginger McGuire; niece, Ruthann Moore and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tues day, October 19 , 2021 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park, Marietta. Pallbearers include Jason McGuire, Jeremy Bryant, Todd Dutton, David McGuire, Bryson McGuire, Tom Regan, and Joshua Hurst.

The family will receive friends Tues day from 10 :00 A M until 12 :00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
