Ms. Evelyn Danette Greene, age 62, of White, GA, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022, at Cartersville Medical Center.

Ms. Greene was born in Rome, Georgia, March 16, 1960, daughter of Jerry Kenneth and Mary Evelyn Lowry Greene, Sr. Ms. Green was an avid reader, enjoyed camping, listening to music and spending time with family, friends and her beloved dog, "Girly Girl". She was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Greene and a brother, Jerry Kenneth Greene, Jr.

She is survived by her parents, Jerry Kenneth and Mary Evelyn Lowry Greene, Sr. of Cartersville; a daughter and son-in-law, Tera and Shane Gibson of Cartersville; two grandchildren, Mikayla and A. J. Nix, both of White; a sister, Angela Greene of Cartersville; nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 2:00 PM from Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, Adairsville, with Rev. Larry Hibberts officiating. Pallbearers include Michael McDonald, A. J. Nix, Steve Davis, John Atkinson, Jason Greene, and Jimmy Fowler.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
