Obituary
Mrs. Faye Jean Kendall, age 83, of Blackwood Court, Calhoun, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Kendall was born in Gordon County, GA, June 9, 1930, daughter of the late Wilson and Rosa Bennett Moss. She was a member of Reeves Baptist Church and retired from Aladdin Mills. Mrs. Kendall enjoyed being outside, especially planting flowers, and loved being with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Ruth Elle Steed and Pearle Moss
She is survived by 4 sons and daughter-in-law, Teddy Richard Cochran of Calhoun, David Charles Cochran of Calhoun, Douglas Lamar and Kay Cochran of Adairsville, and Gary Michael Cochran of Calhoun; a daughter, Gayla Self of Calhoun; 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Claude Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery, Calhoun. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville from 5:30 PM until 8:30 PM.
