Mr. Floyd Jones, age 81, of Rydal, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024, at his residence.

Floyd was born in Waleska, GA on February 25, 1942, son of the late Vernie Andrew and Gladys Mashburn Jones. Mr. Jones was also preceded in death by his brother, Paul E. Jones. He was a Christian and of the full gospel faith. Floyd was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from Lockheed Martin. He enjoyed living a simple life, the outdoors, and hunting.

Survivors include his brothers and sister-in-law, Luther Jones of Adairsville and Hoyt and Juanita Jones of Cartersville; nephew and nieces, Anthony A. Jones (Julie), Brooke J. Mascia, Farrah J. Worsham, and Andrea J. Breeden (David); several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 8, 2024, at 2:00PM from Faith Tabernacle Church, Rydal with Rev. Hoyt Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Jones's family will serve as pallbearers.
