Mr. Frank Ellis Smith, age 88, of Hall Station Road, Adairsville, went to his Heavenly home January 29, 2024.

Frank was born in Adairsville, GA, February 1, 1935, son of the late Guy Oliver Smith and Ella Maude Young Smith. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Billie Sue "Virginia" Culpepper Smith.  grandson, Joshua David Cooper; sisters, Dorothy Smith and Margie Mae Fletcher; brothers, Doyle, Edwin, Arnold, Marvin, and Oliver Smith.  Mr. Smith was a member of Snow Springs Baptist Church. Frank worked for Georgia Power for most of his life, started as a lineman and worked his way to the head supervisor. He enjoyed the outdoors and working in his yard, running the sawmill, and building anything out of wood. His family was his greatest accomplishment and meant the world to him. He was the most loving husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend. Frank will be dearly missed but will live in their hearts forever.

Survivors include his children, Denise and Johnny Cooper, Mark and Donna Smith, Julia Pulliam, Greg and Kyle Smith, and Karen Parker; grandchildren, Breanna Smith, Leeanna LaVine (Dan), Carolyn Benoit, Jennifer Adcock (Jason), Dustin Graham, Dana Graham, Gant Smith, and Sierra Fuller (Jacob); great-grandchildren, Sheridan Cooper, Sydney Cooper, Emma Turner, Tony O'Neal, Destiny O'Neal, Caden Charles, Camden Charles, Skyler Benoit, Landon Benoit, Morgan Benoit, Tristan Adcock, Sam Graham, Alyssa Graham, Eason Graham, Rowland Smith, Arianna Smith, Annaleigh Smith, Lainey Ray Fuller, and Bryce Fuller; brothers,  Lawrence Smith and Jimmy and Vera Mae Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Snow Springs Baptist Church, Adairsville with Rev. Jason Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Snow Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Jason Adcock, Dan LaVine, Trampus Terry, Sam Graham, Dustin Smith and Gant Smith.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at Snow Spring Baptist Church.
