Obituary
Mr. Frankie Dee Murphy, age 58, of George Street, Adairsville, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Cartersville Medical Center.
He was born in Rome, GA, July 10, 1958, son of Shirley Wright Murphy and the late Franklin Delano Murphy. Mr. Murphy retired from Mannington Carpets. He loved his family and spending time together, especially with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Audie Murphy.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley Murphy of Adairsville; sons, Adam Murphy of Adairsville and Adrian Murphy of Adairsville; grandchildren, Layla Murphy, Nora Murphy, Jackson Murphy, Keeliegh Murphy, Lyric Murphy and Kayden Murphy; brother, Timothy Murphy of Adairsville and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Monday, August 1, 2016, at 5:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Mike Smith and Adam Murphy officiating.
