Obituary
Mr. Gary Mitchell Bennett, age 36, of Canefield Road, Cartersville, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014.
Mr. Bennett was born in Marietta, GA, February 1, 1978, son of Gary Michael Bennett and Debbie Fair Williams. He attended NorthPointe Church. Mitch was a diehard Phish fan but listened to all genres of music. He enjoyed bowling, basketball, University of Georgia football, and anything dealing with history. He loved spending time with his son and being around his family. Mitch was preceded in death by his nephew, Landon Coker and grandfather, Mel Bennett.
Survivors include his son, Cole Mitchell Bennett; father, Gary Michael Bennett of Cartersville; mother, Debbie Williams of Adairsville; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Brett Coker of Cartersville, grandparents, Ruby West Bennett of Calhoun and Robert M. and Sarah P. Hollaran Fair of Adairsville; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held Friday, August 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM at NorthPointe Church, Adairsville with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at NorthPointe Church, Adairsville.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, is in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. Gary Mitchell Bennett.
