Mr. Gary Dean "Rocky" Randell, age 78, of Cedartown, GA, passed away June 8, 2011 at Cedar Springs Health and Rehab, Cedartown
He was born in Cave Springs, GA, on April 20, 1933, son of the late Paul and Louise Mobbs Skene. Mr. Randell had been a professional boxer and was a sports fan who especially enjoyed watching college football. Mr. Randell was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jack Skene and a sister, Shirley Skene.
Survivors include a son, Gary D. Randell, Jr. of Palm Bay, FL; 2 daughters, Roxanne Louise Randell Edwards of Keene, NH, and Melissa Kay Randell Cavlarder of Tampa, FL; 4 brothers, Paul Sheldon Skene of Culver City, CA, Don M. Skene of Gretna, LA, Mickie Skene of Phoenix, AZ; and Clifford T. Skene of Adairsville; 2 sisters, Christine Rodeo of Durham, NC, and Paulette Beavers of Shannon, GA; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren also survive.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. Gary Randell.
