Mrs. Georgia Ione Bennett- Barton , 92 , of White passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022, at AdventHealth Gordon.

Mrs. Bennett was born in Rydal , Georgia, May 8, 1929 , daughter of the late Thomas and Louella Willis Bagwell . She was member of Olive Vine Baptist Church. Ione retired from EZ Mills, where she was the local union chairman. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J. C. Bennett; daughter, Debra Lynn Rogers; sister, Beatrice Findley; and brother, David "Buddy" Bagwell, Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Barton; grandson, Kevin Temples; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Mon day, January 31, 2022 , at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Olive Vine Baptist Church Cemetery, Pine Log. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Findley, David Bagwell, Ed McDaniel, Andy Findley, Ryan Crowe and Colby Hice.

The family will receive friends Mon day from 1 :00 PM until 3 :00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
