Ms. Gertrude "Suzie" (Malsch) Ledford, December 13, 1920 – November 12, 2013 (92) resided in Hawkinsville, GA passed away in Gordon Hospital.

Ms. Ledford was born in Illinois and resided in Wisconsin until 1982 when she relocated to Calhoun, GA and worked for Evco Plastics for many years and retired from Baby Days in Adairsville.

Preceded in death by her parents William and Mamie Malsch, brothers Homer & Robert Malsch & sister Grace Papworth and granddaughter April Lee Craig

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Purchas of Madison, WI & Adairsville, GA and her son Roger Ledford of Port Allsworth, AK; grandchildren, Kathleen (Ledford) Henderson, Christi (Ledford) Rector, Connie Ledford; great grandchildren, Charmaine Ramey-Ledford, Dominique James, Tyvon Henderson, Dakota & Logan Rector, Mattaya & Maxton Ledford, and her first great-great granddaughter Ja'Niyah Kennedy.

Suzie has one surviving brother William Malsch; and several step-children & step grand-children; Nora Goven-Kregel (Daniel) and their children Mary & Laina

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at 3:00 PM at Adairsville Body of Christ Church, Adairsville with Pastor Kenneth Benham officiating.
