Ms. Gladys M. Jolly, age 70, of Adairsville, passed away April 26, 2024, at Piedmont Cartersville Hospital.

Gladys was born in Bartow County, GA, September 26, 1953, daughter of the late Charles Lee Edwards and Alma Margene Bishop Edwards. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Omagene Haney and Nancy Thacker. Gladys was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed living a simple life, spending time with her family and spoiling her nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her sisters, Teresa Freeman (Steve), Sylvia Whitfield (Steve), and Sharon Belt (Michael); brothers, Calvin Edwards, Ovell Edwards (Brenda), and Randy Edwards; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive.

A celebration of Gladys's life will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 6:00PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Mr. Morris Whitener officiating.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00PM until 6:00PM.
