Ms. Glenda Marie Camp, 69, of Oak Grove Road, Adairsville passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013.
Ms. Camp was born in Adairsville, Georgia, June 6, 1944, daughter of the late Clifford B. and Jack Higgins Camp. She was a member of Snow Springs Baptist Church and the Joe P. Bowdoin Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading, looking at cookbooks and loved to cook. Ms. Camp is preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Barbara Camp.
She is survived by her sister, Hilda Jayne Camp of Adairsville; brother, Lamar Camp of Adairsville; niece, Scarlett Camp Dunne and Richard Dunne of Athens; nephew, Derek and Paula Camp of Adairsville; 4 aunts, Janelle Alexander of Rome, Alice Bell Culpepper of Adairsville, Hattie Bell Dutton of Adairsville, and Mae Carver of Scottsville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at 2:00 PM Snow Springs Baptist Church, Adairsville, with Rev. James Ward, Rev. Donald Lumpkin, and Rev. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
