Mrs. Glenda Sue Henson, age 68, of Cartersville passed away peacefully Thursday morning, May 28, 2020.

She was born in Cartersville, Georgia, April 12, 1952, daughter of the late Bennie Jenkins and Martha Brock Jenkins. Mrs. Henson was of the Baptist faith and retired from Cartersville City School System. Mrs. Henson was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tim Roger Henson; daughter, Martha Newberry; and brother, Dooley Jenkins.

Survivors include her children, Joe and Yvonne Newberry, Amanda Henson and Daniel Pack, and Anthony and Amber Henson; stepson, Danny and Teresa Henson; grandchildren, Kagan Newberry, Danny Pack III, Mackenzie Henson, Derek Henson, DJ Henson, and Timothy Henson; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Marshall Jenkins, John Jenkins, Ted Jenkins, and Michael Jenkins; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 11:00 AM from Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville with Rev. Brian Silvers officiating.

R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mrs. Glenda Sue Henson.
