Mrs. Glenda Faye Moore, age 64, of Stoners Road, Adairsville, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, June 16, 2015 at the residence.
She was born in Calhoun, Georgia, December 14, 1950, daughter of the late James Franklin Wyatt and Sarah Cowart Wyatt. Mrs. Moore was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and part of the Prayer Quilting Group and Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed reading and was a master seamstress, quilting family tree blankets, baby blankets, or simply any occasion that a blanket was needed. She treasured her family, especially her grandchildren, savoring every moment they were together. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents; children, Keith and Kris Moore; sister, Judy Robinson.
Survivors include her husband of forty-seven years, Harold Moore of Adairsville; daughters and son-in-law, Kristy and Britt Beemiller of Adairsville and Kim Moore of Bonaire, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Shawna Moore of Adairsville; grandchildren, Cody Beemiller, Maleah Beemiller, Taylor Moore, Maddison Moore, and Everett Moore; sisters, Brenda and Marshall Gilley of AL, and Diane and Robby Holder of Cartersville; brothers, Tommy and Phyllis Wyatt of Plainville and Jerry and Mary Wyatt of Dalton; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Adairsville with Ministers Brent Tatum and David Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Taylor Moore, Cody Beemiller, Tracey Moore, Brian Tinch, Anthony Jacobs, Randal Forsyth, and Dewayne Everett.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
