Mrs. Hali Elizabeth Ray Noeller, age 37, with her loved ones at her side passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Hali was born in Rome, Georgia, February 25, 1987, to James Phillip Ray and Vanita Rose Hamilton Thompson.  A graduate of Cass High School Class of 2005, she went on to continue her education at Valdosta State earning both her Bachelors and Master's Degrees in Education, and later a Specialist Degree at Berry College. From early on she was committed to a life serving children and their educational needs, especially those with special needs. Her teaching career took her around the world, with stints in the Valdosta City School System, the Bartow County School System, 6 years at the IPS International School in Wroclaw, Poland, and most recently at Chaulker Elementary in the Cobb County School System. She had a wanderlust for the world, having traveled to over 35 countries.

Survivors include her loving husband, Jeff Noeller; mother, Vanita Hamilton Thompson and husband Barry; father, Phil "Tooter" Ray; sister, Amber Ray Garlin and husband Heath; stepchildren, Ryleigh, Paityn, Easton, and Whitney Noeller; niece, Savanna Garlin; nephew, Huck Garlin; best friends, Christa Gilmore and Alyssa Cole; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Hali's life will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 PM until the hour of the service.
