Mr. Harold Eugene Peace, 72, of Kingston passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Peace was born in Rome, Georgia, August 30, 1948, son of the late Harold B. Peace and Jessie Coker Peace. Mr. Peace was of the Baptist faith and veteran of the United States Army. He had worked at Disney World and was a retired machinist from Soft Track Supply. Harold loved his family and spending time together. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Wanda Peace; sons, Richard (Linda) Peace and Robert (Courtney) Peace; grandchildren, Kelsey (Ray) Taff, Ellisa (Levi) Robinson, Crystal (Brad) Cheek, Hayes Peace, Andrea (Travis) Moss, and Mahala Peace (Dee Strong); great-grandchildren, Britain, Dawson, Vann, Aleah, Zayne and Rhett Robinson, Bentley and Kinsley Cheek, Phoenix Peace, Melody Strong, Kaysen and Averie Moss; brother, James Peace and Tommy Peace; sisters, Frances Roden and Sylvia Baldwin; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with with Rev. Ronnie Cowart and Rev. Bob Ray officiating. Internment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Hayes Peace, Ray Taff, Levi Robinson, Brad Cheek, Travis Moss, and Dee Strong. Honorary pallbearers include John Howell, Rodney Porter and John Morton.

Family and friends attending services will be required to wear face mask and observe social distancing.
