Obituary
Mr. Harrell Ovell Adcock, age 82, of Adcock Loop, Adairsville passed away Friday morning, November 20, 2015 at Calhoun Health Care.
Mr. Adcock was born in the Folsom community of Adairsville, Georgia on February 7, 1933, son of the late Walter Cliff Adcock and Mary Stone Adcock. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Most will remember his quick jest and keen sense of humor. Mr. Adcock was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Max Adcock, and sister, Lillian Kirby.
He is survived by his sister, Barbara Dutton of Adairsville and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Patrick Bowerman officiating. Interment will follow in Hayes Cemetery, Folsom community, Adairsville. Pallbearers will be his nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
