Mrs. Helen Davis Stovall, age 88, of 2380 Highway 140, NW, Adairsville, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011, at the residence.

She was born in Alcoa, TN, November 21, 1922, daughter of the late Fredrick A. and Mary Estelle Richardson Davis. Mrs. Stovall was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and had retired from Lockheed Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Wallace H. Richardson, SR; her second husband, Henry A. Stovall; a brother, Buster V. Davis and a sister, Ruth Davis Prewett.

Survivors include her 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Evelyn Croft of Morganton, Marie and R.L. Boswell of Adairsville, and Wanda and Michael McCadden of Kingston; a son, Wallace H. "Dick" Richardson, JR of Buchanan; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 20, 2011 at 1:00 PM from Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Adairsville, with Rev. Larry Hibberts officiating. She will lie in state at the church from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Acworth.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Davis, Robert Fuller, Matt McCadden, Todd Johnson, Russell Cobb, Dwayne Odom, James Cline, Jeremy Bell, and Casey Troxel.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
