Obituary
Mrs. Helon Walker Fouts, age 86, of Highway 140, Adairsville, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016.
Mrs. Fouts was born in Temple, Georgia, October 4, 1929, daughter of the late Rufus Hershel Walker and Grace Lovell Walker. She was a member of Adairsville United Methodist Church. Mrs. Fouts retired from the Fulton County School System and was a talented seamstress. She was an avid gardener, lover of animals, and as her family would say "the best cook in the world". She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dorothy Lovingood.
Survivors include her loving husband of sixty-five years, William Fouts of Adairsville; children, Edward and Brenda Fouts of Calhoun, Joyce Fouts of Calhoun, and Paula Fouts of Calhoun; grandchildren, Nicole Duffey (Josh) Robison, Elizabeth Fouts, Chris Fouts, and Hannah Trusty.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 5, at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Kelly Brisendine officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery, Canton.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
