Mr. Herman Troy Freeman, age 82, of Adairsville went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, July 7, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.

Herman was born in Calhoun, Georgia, December 1, 1941, son of L.H. Freeman and Geneva Reeves Freeman. He was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Thurman, and brothers, Oscar and Leonard; sisters, Viola, Frances, Lily Mae, and Sarah; and grandson, Barry.

He was a faithful Christian and member of Heritage Baptist Church and the Seekers Sunday School Class.

Herman was a quiet man of few but meaningful words. A hard worker, he began work at an early age as a TV repairman. He had owned and operated Freeman TV and Appliance Repair in Adairsville for numerous years. Later in life he changed careers to being an electrician and working on industrial equipment. Herman retired from Mohawk Industries. He was an avid reader and enjoyed tomato gardening.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Glenda Freeman; brother C. J. Freeman (Mary); his family, Darlene (Michael), Teri, Tracy, Jeff, Ricky, Kristen "Sissy", Michael, Dustin (Patricia), Ashley, Landon, Turner, Levi, Angel, Aurora, Aiden, Lilyann, Ripley, Little Dustin, Sequoia, Zach, Hayden, and Logan; a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Reverends Reggie Goble and Shane Parrot officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers will be Michael Hunter, Ricky Skaja, Michael Carroll, Landon Hamilton, Tony Freeman and Charles Freeman. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Cochran, Steve Nelson, Larry Higdon, and Dustin Morgan.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home
