Mr. Hilburn "Junior" Childers, age 56, of Rydal, passed away December 15, 2019 at his residence.

He was born in Cartersville, January 26, 1963, son of the late Hilburn and Ella Mae Childers. He was full of life and could light up any room he walked into. He was an amazing dad and pawpaw. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James and Raymond Childers; and sister, Phyllis Ray.

Survivors include his wife Joann Childers; children, Chris and Amanda Childers Mike Childers, Michelle and Jon Dinning, Shane and Brandy Childers; grandchildren, Grace, Abby, Emily, Cray, Easton, Dallis, and Titus; sister, Carolyn and Allen Parker; brothers, Randell and Melinda Childers, Jason and Gracie Childers, Johnny and Rhonda Childers, and Claude Childers; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Living Way Community Center, Adairsville with Rev. Randell Childers officiating. Interment will follow in Towe Chapel Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Kevin Parker, Tony Parker, Josh "Bama" Pinion, Boddy Ray, Matt Childers, and David Ray. Honorary pallbearer will be Tim Redd.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Living Way Community Center, 118 East George Street, Adairsville, GA 30103.
