Obituary
Mrs. Inez E. Edwards, 72, of Folsom Road, Adairsville passed away Thursday (November 14, 2013) at Gordon Hospital.
Mrs. Edwards was born in Gordon County, Georgia, May 1, 1941, daughter of the late Herman and Laura Rickett Peace. She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist
Church and the Woman's Missionary Union. Mrs. Edwards is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Sammy Rogers.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jerry Edwards of Adairsville; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Sherrie Edwards of Rydal; grandson, Zachary Edwards of Rydal; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Ralph Gray of Calhoun, Lucille and Charles Sullivan of Calhoun, and Shirley Rogers of Calhoun; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 17, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Adairsville, with Rev. Larry Hibberts and Rev. Gregg Free officiating. Interment will follow in the Hayes cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour. Pallbearers include Zachary Edwards, Michael Edwards, Derek Edwards, Todd Edwards, Steve Edwards, and Michael Stone.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
