Mrs. Irene Bennett Cochran, age 83, formerly of Adairsville, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018.
She was born in Kingston, GA, August 5, 1935, daughter of the late Charles Leldon Bennett and Thelma Kilgore Bennett. Mrs. Cochran was a member at Adairsville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Pleasant Valley Congregation. Irene loved living life sharing the word of the Bible with others. She enjoyed working her garden and canning food. An amazing mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed by all of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 59 years, Harbert Nathan Cochran.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Cindy Cochran of Canton and Robert Cochran of Port Charlotte, FL; daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda Bline of Ft. Myers, FL, Terrie and Michael Cardwell of Calhoun, and Lola and Don Peters of Adairsville; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Tam Bennett, Bob Bennett, Leldon Bennett, and Danny Bennett; sisters, Allie Williams, Patricia Hulsey, and Jewel Carter; several niece and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 3:00 PM from the Adairsville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Minister Richard Blalock officiating.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mrs. Irene Bennett Cochran.
