Izaak Antonio Ramos, age 14, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021.

He was born in Calhoun, GA, May 1, 2007, to Antonio Miguel Ramos and Consequela Hilley Bennett. Izaak attended Adairsville High School where he played football. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Darlene Owensby and great-grandparents, Johnny and Geneva Owensby, Lundy and Lucille Sexton, and Earl and Mary Lou Hilley.

From the time Izaak took his first steps, he was running, barefoot, into the great outdoors. No matter where he went, he'd find a mud hole and something to take through it. His free time was spent with his family riding horses, hunting and fishing, and tearing up the trails on his side-by-side. Izaak's gears were always turning, tinkering with a motor, taking things apart and putting them back together. He was always surrounded by friends, never met a stranger, and always made his parents proud.

Survivors include his mother, Consequela and Brent Bennett; father, Tony and Crystal Ramos; sisters and brothers, Mekayla Ramos (Clayton Hogue), Eli Ramos, Bella Fidazzo, Morgan Bennett, and Ashley Bennett; grandparents, Kenneth and Elinda Hilley, Linda Bennett, Pamela and Joe Stewart, and Gary Hilderbrand; aunts and uncles, Rebecca and Ryan Goss, Teresa "Tesa" Smith, Kim and Brian Czartorski, and Clifford Pratt; special cousins, Eric and Katie Abernathy, Rylan, Jason, Khloe, and Blaize Goss, Lijah Smith, Logan Vines, and Zane and Zef Pope; several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Reverend Thomas Johnson and Pastor Rebecca Reed officiating. Private interment will follow after. Pallbearers will include Randy Johnson, Michael Edwards, Clayton Hogue, Eric Abernathy, Rylan Goss, and Jason Goss.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
