Mr. Jack Junior Morrow, age 77, of Hill Street, Adairsville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at his residence.
He was born in Adairsville, GA, on November 6, 1939, son of the late Alvin E. "Clark" Morrow and Artis Mae Chamblee Morrow. Mr. Morrow was a member of New Life Ministries. Many knew him for his talent in sheet rocking and painting. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and listening to music, but most of all he loved being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Peggy Brown Morrow.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Zina (Steve) Benton of Calhoun, Nena (Glenn) Hunt of Adairsville, Savelle King of Adairsville, and Danita (Terry) Wyatt of Plainville; sons and daughters-in-law, Ravee (Lynn) Morrow of Adairsville, and Kyle (Tessa) Morrow of Ranburne, AL; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ralph Morrow of Cedar Bluff, AL and Rev. Steve (Donna) Morrow of Adairsville; sisters, Opal Gulledge of Adairsville and Audrey Wilson of Adairsville; several nieces and nephew.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM at New Life Ministries, Adairsville, with Rev. Kyle Morrow, Rev. Steve Morrow, and Rev Ed Pasley officiating. Interment will follow in Oothcalooga Baptist Church Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include his grandsons, Brandon Coplin, Andrew Coplin, Hayden Morrow, Christopher Hunt, Eric Hunt, Trey Wyatt, and Jake Benton.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
