Mrs. Jackie Rose Cowart, age 74, of Adairsville passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at the residence.

Mrs. Cowart was born in Adairsville, Georgia on March 7, 1944, daughter of the late James Robert Baldwin and Sarah Johnson Baldwin. She was a member of Pine Chapel Church and a talented seamstress for many years. She was a proud and loving wife, mother, and nana who will be deeply missed. Mrs. Cowart was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Junior and Howard Baldwin.

Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Hughlon Cowart of Adairsville, children, Raymond and Vicki Cowart of Ooltewah, TN and Amy and Mark Braden of Cedar Bluff, AL; grandchildren, Justin and Amy Cowart of Searcy, AK, Kristina and Steven Camp of Rockmart, and Mason Braden of Cedar Bluff, AL; greatgrandchildren, Ella and Ava Cowart; sisters, Hazel Timms, Margaret Thurman, Lois Wooten, Jo Kisselburg, and Retha Gregory; brothers, Leroy Baldwin, Edward Baldwin, and Paul Baldwin; special nephew, Donald Timms and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 30, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Jim Pinkard and Mr. Justin Cowart officiating. Interment will follow in Hayes Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Raymond Cowart, Mark Braden, Justin Cowart, Mason Braden, Steven Camp, Donald Timms, and Gary Wooten.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
