Obituary
Mr. James Burnett, age 63, of Mann road, Rockmart, passed away Sunday morning, November 6, 2016, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Bartow County, GA, February 21, 1953, son of the late Robert Lee Burnett and Lucille Chitwood Burnett. Mr. Burnett was of the Christian faith, loved music, and working in his flower gardens. Mr. Burnett is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.
Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda Burnett of Rockmart; children, Marc Burnett of Covington and Tiffany Burnett of Rockmart; 8 grandchildren; a brother and 7 sisters; several nieces and nephews
A celebration of Mr. Burnett's life will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. C. E. Popham, JR officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
